"After 9 weeks of battling it out on CBC's hit new show Cover me Canada, Melanie Morgan is thrilled with her success and national exposure! Only 8 bands out of thousands that had applied were selected to be on the show where the bands had to perform classic Canadian songs! Melanie got the chance to work with some amazing producer's such as Hawksley Workman, Gavin Brown and star maker Ron Fair.

Cover me Canada was a great experience for Melanie who proved to Canada that her country twang could overcome many genres of music such as Steppenwolf, Bryan Adams, Anne Murray to Tragically Hip. Melanie Morgan who is now Cover me Canada's runner up artist is now working on new material for her next project and plans on releasing a new album in the spring of 2012. Melanie Morgan will be on tour this summer so look out for her in a City near you."
